View of Ambas BayThe Bota Lava Flow Overlook

This Trail climbs partway up Bota Hill, and then curves around it, ending at an Ancient Lava Flow. From here, the spectacular view of Ambas Bay and the town of Limbe can be enjoyed.

The Bota Adventure Trail

This circular trail is for the more adventurous visitors as it follows the steep climb up Bota Hill, rising 95m above Ambas Bay. See the tallest tree in the Botanic Garden (a Ceiba pentandra), and maybe a few wild animals or parrots too. It is worth looking out for a native vine (Pararistolochia goldiana), which has one of the largest flowers in Cameroon.
